About Kelton Schleyer

Kelton Schleyer, Ph.D., completed a B.S. in Chemistry at Harding University in Searcy, AR, before beginning graduate school in the department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at the University of New Mexico (Albuquerque, NM) under Dr. Lina Cui. After receiving an M.S. in Chemistry, he joined Dr. Cui again in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Florida, finishing his Ph.D. in 2021. Dr. Schleyer then pursued post-doctoral research with Dr. Ralph Weissleder at the Center for Systems Biology in Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2025, Dr. Schleyer returned to the College of Pharmacy at UF as a Research Assistant in the Cui lab.
