On June 11th, 2019, the Department of Medicinal Chemistry held their 3rd Annual Student Award Ceremony, “Celebrating Student Excellence“, in the Public Health and Health Professionals building atrium. The faculty were pleased to recognize the outstanding achievements of all 25+ graduate students in the department as well as highlight a few individuals who were chosen to receive the following awards:
Best Research Paper Award– In recognition of published breakthrough research of high impact.

Exemplary Service Student Award- In recognition of a graduate student who has gone the extra mile to help improve the graduate program.

Best Research Student Award- In recognition of students that have been exceptionally prolific in research in their graduate career.
Recipient: Guangde Jiang
Top Graduating Student Award- In recognition of the student with the highest GPA, research output and good citizenship.

Best Graduate Student Seminar Presentation Award (Junior and Senior Division)- In recognition of excellent student presentations and active participation in the 2018-2019 Student Seminar Series.
